Vaseline Lip Therapy - Honest Review

Hey hey! So I'm back with a little review of the original Vaseline Lip Therapy! This stuff claims that it will provide you with soft and smooth lips. Being someone who has fought with her lips a lot (mainly picking and biting them) I wanted to give this a shot!

I have used this product just about every night for the last 2 months. (Before I started using this, my lips were extremely chapped and just gross. I am someone who loves the feel of smooth lips but as soon as I have even the tiniest rough patch, I'll pick at it and then it's just a downward spiral!) But anyway, I have LOVED this stuff! My lips have never been smoother and they are super baby soft. I can wear lipstick and lipgloss again with confidence knowing that my lips look healthy and soft.

I am currently on my third little vial of this stuff and nothing else I've found that has similar claims has been up to par. The original lip therapy is just incredible! And the best part is is that it's SUPER CHEAP and can be found pretty much everywhere!

The coco butter version, on the other hand, has not been as much of a hit. While the smell is amazing, I've found that it really isn't as hydrating and moisturizing as the original formula. I have always loved coco butter products, so I was really jazzed when I saw that they had this new version out. But it just wasn't the same.

So moral of the story, the Vaseline Lip Therapy (Original) is simply amazing and I recommend it to everyone. It is certainly with the $2.75 I paid for it and I know you won't be disappointed!

Review: Lorac Pro Palette

Hello all you lovely people! So I have been using my Lorac PRO palette for a few days now and I am absolutely in love with it! The shadows are super smooth, creamy, and pigmented and the primer is a wonderful bonus!

Lately I have been reaching for more matte eye shadows than shimmers but I believe that is just because I didn't really like matte shadows until this palette and my Stila in the light palette. However, over the last few weeks, I've been using the Lorac pro for a lot of different occasions.

The palette contains 16 different eye shadows - 8 matte and 8 shimmer. All together, the shadows have little fallout when used with the primer and they are very pigmented. I have personally had many compliments on my eye shadow since using the palette. The shimmery shadows are amazing and very easy to apply.

I have mainly used the palette for my every day eye look and I gravitate more towards the matte shadows lately. I have really enjoyed using this palette and I highly recommend it! So, why not go and treat yourself to something fabulous such as this palette?!

     Talk to y'all real soon!

Review: Revlon colorstay liquid eye pens

Lately I have been searching for a new liquid eyeliner to replace my Loreal telescopic liquid liner. I believe I have found my holy grail liquid liner, the Revlon colorstay liquid pen.

I have been loving Revlon lately and I believe that it is one of the best drug store brands out there! Their products are amazing! I had seen a few reviews of the Revlon liquid eye pens and thought I would give them a try. So I went down to my local target and picked up the pens in black and blackened brown. Boy do I love these!

I couldn't even wait until I got home to open them! I went out to my car and decided I was going to try them out then and there (needless to say I had some confused looks comin' my way from other shoppers). These are wonderful little gadgets! The line of the felt tip pen is smooth and easy to work with; the pigmentation of the product is decent (not my favorite but definitely not the worst). I love the fact that the liquid dries instantly as well so there is no awkward line on ones eyelid from wet liner. The formulation of the product itself is nice because it really does last all day!

So even though the pigmentation of the liner isn't as bold as it could be, it is nice for a subtle liner look and it doesn't make your eyes look scary. I secretly think that's why I love it!

Sephora unboxing: Lorac PRO eye shadow palette

Hello again! I recently reached VIB status at Sephora for the year and thought I'd treat myself to something little (like I need anymore makeup lol)! I decided since I could not get the Lorac PRO palette at my local Sephora, I'd order it online and use my free shipping code! I was also delighted to find the package on my doorstep this afternoon when I arrived home from work (It wasn't supposed to arrive until this coming Monday, but hey you don't see me complaining!!)

I'll have a review on the palette coming soon! But first impressions are looking positive :)

   Talk to y'all later

Cider Lane

So since fall has almost come upon us, I figured it was finally time to break out my favorite fall scent - Cider Lane from Bath and Body Works! I went shopping last year to find some new fall scents to really get me into the mood of the changing seasons (and definitely my favorite season!) and I stumbled upon this scent. I went in and perused the scent selection for a good 30 minutes before really settling on Cider lane. For me, many of the other scents, such as Leaves and Pumpkin Caramel Latte and Autumn were just not hitting the right cords for me. They just didn't remind me of when I lived in Vermont; but Cider Lane did!

To me it smells exactly how I picture fall - apples, caramel, and cinnamon! I decided to purchase two of the wall flower bulbs and two of the 3-wick candles. Boy was I in heaven that first day I used them! The throw of both the candle and the wall flower was and still is amazing! It is a rich and warm scent without being too overbearing. It still amazes me too because I have a candle left from last fall that I burnt about half way and it still smells like the first day I lit it!

So when I started sensing fall in the air a few weeks ago, I had to go pick up some additional wallflower bulbs and two additional 3-wick candles. I have not burnt them yet because I am waiting for the perfect day (which I know will be here soon) but I am so excited to smell the warmth and comfort that this scent provides!

Stila's In the light

Wow! I never thought I would love this palette as much as I do! The Stila in the light palette is one of the most amazing palettes I have ever used.

I never thought I would be one to wear matte eye shadow because I always thought it was just strange. But last night, I put on one of the looks in the look book and I fell in love with it! The pigmentation in the eye shadows are phenomenal and there is very little fallout. The shadows apply very easily and last all day even without a primer. That just makes me wonder how much more amazing they become when applied on a base/primer! They are also so natural and I really think I like this palette more than my Urban Decay Naked2 palette. The price is a good bargain for 10 shadows and a full eye pencil.

There is a combination of both shimmer and matte shadows which is perfect for so many combinations! I think I may have to treat myself to the other Stila palettes!
